Information Security Consultant with 15+ years of expertise in the Information Security Domain

Theodoros has more than 15 years of experience in the ICT domain, specialising in the Information Security sector.

Theodoros holds a Ph.D. in Information Security from the Informatics Department of University of Piraeus (Greece). He also holds a MSc in Advanced Informatics Systems from the Informatics Department of University of Piraeus and a BSc in Mathematics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Greece).

Throughout his career, Theodoros has contributed to numerous national and EU research initiatives, as well as complex cybersecurity projects across various sectors, including SCADA Providers, SaaS Providers, Maritime Companies, Public Sector, Insurance Companies, EU DG. His expertise spans the implementation of ISO 27001:2022 and ISO 27017:2015, SOC 2 Type I & II preparations, OT Risk Assessments, Cybersecurity Response Frameworks, Incident Response Procedures, and Business Continuity Management Systems.

An active researcher, Theodoros has published over 12 scientific papers in scientific conferences and journals. His research interests include Critical Infrastructure Protection, Risk Assessment, Hacking & Hacktivism, Data Protection, and Digital Forensics.

He is certified with CISSP (ISC2), CCSP (ISC2), CISM (ISACA), CISA (ISACA), Certified DPO. He is a certified Auditor for ISO 27001, ISO 22301 and ISO 20000-1.
